Michael Fallon named Assistant Principal at Sanford High School

SANFORD, Maine – The Sanford School Department has named Michael Fallon as the new Assistant Principal of Sanford High School.

Fallon will take over for Amanda Doyle, who was promoted to Principal at Sanford High School on July 1st.

Fallon has a Masters's Degree in Education, a professional teaching license, and Assistant Principal certification. 

"Mike is a skilled educator with over 34 years of experience positively impacting students, educators, and the Sanford community. He has committed his professional life to the Sanford School Department, serving in a variety of positions, and has a keen understanding of Sanford High School and the needs of students and staff," Superintendent Matt Nelson said. "Mike has a tireless work ethic and is an excellent communicator who prioritizes relationships encouraging all students to reach their full personal and academic potential."

"Mike had dedicated many years of invaluable service to Sanford High School and its students as an Attendance Coordinator, Teacher, and Coach," Sanford High School Principal Amanda Doyle said. "He is tenacious, supportive, and a mentor to many. These qualities will serve him well as he moves to the Assistant Principal's office."
