How long have you been teaching at Sanford Middle School?
This is my twenty-ninth year teaching. My career began in St. George and Thomaston before arriving at Sanford Jr High School in 2004. I've been teaching middle level industrial arts, technology education, and STEM.
What is your favorite part about working at Sanford Middle School?
The best thing about working at SMS is the the people, my colleagues and work family. I am motivated by the enthusiasm, compassion and energy they bring to a challenging environment, all to benefits kids and their growth.
If you could share one piece of advice with students, what would it be?
Please acknowledge and celebrate your skill set and strengths, "you do you the best, so go do you and show me your best"
What are your interests and hobbies?
I am an outdoor recreational enthusiast, really get a kick out of nature, and enjoy gardening and bee keeping.
