Thinking of attending college next year? It's time to complete your FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). SHS and SRTC are offering a free FAFSA Help Night (with FAME, the Finance Authority of Maine) on Wednesday, January 15th, from 6-7:30 at SHS/SRTC in the SRTC Career Center. Students must come with a parent/guardian. The student and parent each must set up their FSA ID (Federal Student Aid ID, or account) 4-7 days ahead of filing the FAFSA. Here's the website to start your accounts: https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch. Do this prior to attending the help night so that you can complete your FAFSA that evening.
