On Thursday, April 14th, SRTC held “Celebrating Partnerships”, an event to celebrate our existing partners, our Program Advisory Committee members, and to welcome new partners. Over 100 people attended and enjoyed passed hors d’oeuvres created by SRTC’s Culinary Arts program and heard from three SRTC Welding and Metal Fabrication students about their internship programs at Casco Bay Steel and Rubb Building Systems. For the second part of the evening, Program Advisory Committee members and instructors met and new partners enjoyed a tour of the building and further discussion regarding opportunities to connect with SRTC on projects and student employment. The event was coordinated by Career Exploration Coordinator, Katie Schindler, and sponsored through a grant from the MELMAC Education Foundation.
