SRTC Welding students under the guidance of Instructor Adam Hartford have been working on the massive sign that will welcome people to Alumni Stadium on our campus. Students have been following the plans and fabricated out of steel in the Welding shop the last several weeks. Today, they helped "fit" or rig the sign in place. It was put up in three parts and was returned to the school in one solid piece ready to complete the welding process before being sandblasted. Once it is ready and cleaned up, the Auto Collision Repair students will go to work painting the massive sign. Chandler's Auto Service and Repair helped lift the sign up so it could be tacked together.
