Students from Sanford Regional Technical Center’s Health Occupations, EMT, and Firefighting Programs visited Boston on Monday, November 27th, to explore the Body Worlds: The Anatomy of Happiness traveling exhibit.

85 students, 10 instructors, and chaperones attended the Back Bay Hub event. It was a rare and unique opportunity for SRTC students to consider health and anatomy in a broader context than their disciplines.

The exhibit encourages viewers to have an interdisciplinary reflection on the human body, health, illness, medicine, mental/physical health connections, stress, personal wellness, and more.

Body Worlds provides insights into the body’s complex structure and explains how functional systems interact.

The exhibit inspired students to reflect on what it means to live consciously and to pay attention to their health.
