Congratulations to the SRTC students and instructors who competed in last week's SkillsUSA competition.

SRTC took home 16 medals during the two-day competition. Alexander Barth from Kennebunk High School and Melody Schaeffer from Massabesic High School won the gold medal for the Digital Design program in the 3D Visualization and Animation Contest.

Chloe Larson from Massabesic High School and Carly Turgeon from Sanford High won the gold for the Video Production program in the Audio/Radio Production contest. The Video Production team of Emily Bowen and AJ Smith, both from Noble High School, took the silver in the Audio/Radio production contest.

Kaylin Grogg from SRTC's Engineering and Architectural Design took the gold in the Technical Drafting contest.

Other gold medal winners included Colby Temple, Kennebunk High School, in the CNC Programmer contest; Hannah Neer, Sanford High School, in the Courtesy Corp contest; and Alex McLeod, Sanford High School, in the Collision Damage Appraisal contest.

Silver medal winners included Elaina Eves, Noble High School, in the customer service competition; Connor Maurice, Traip Academy, in the Precision Machining contest; Kendra Minster, Marshwood High School, in the Prepared Speech contest; Corbin Odess in the Technical Drafting contest, and Ella Rodriguez, Sanford High, in the Courtesy Corp contest.

Bronze medal winners were Maison Matthews, Noble High School, in the Collision Damage Appraisal contest; Madison Sheppard, Sanford High, Architectural Drafting contest; Mitchell Stevens, Kennebunk High School, in the Collision Repair Technology contest; and Colby Watson in the Collision Repair Tool Identification contest.
