THURSDAY, MARCH 28TH

TODAY IS A WHITE DAY

  • Today is a 7th grade band and lesson day.  Group Three lessons meet today.  Jazz Band will practice today from 2 to 3.
  • Today is an 8th grade chorus day.
  • STEAM team will end at 3:00 today instead of 3:30 - please make sure your rides are here at this earlier time.
  • Karaoke Club will meet today in room 13.
  • Students riding the bowling bus will be waiting in Ms. Cote's room, Room 27 today after dismissal.
  • Math Club will be meeting tomorrow from 2-3 in Mrs. Look’s room. New members are welcome!
  • Attention all track athletes. All paperwork needs to be in by TOMORROW, March 29th, at 2:00 pm. Sports physicals get turned in to the school nurse. Concussion Policy and Athletic Information Record get turned into Coach Allen or Coach Sanborn. The grades paper does NOT need to be turned in to practice on Monday. Any questions can be directed to Coach Allen or Sanborn. Thank you.
  • This is the week to vote for the Maine Student Book Award.  If you have read 3 of the books see your Language Arts teacher for the link to the ballot form or see Mrs. Williams in the library.
  • There is a lot of smack talking going down in the 7th grade wing around the Pay it Forward Penny Drive - you all know how competitive Mrs. Clark is right? And Mr. Tyson is trying to set a record for the most silver collected, I think!! Keep that change coming in!
  • Next Friday, to wrap up MEA week, the entire school is going to visit Sanford High School to see this year’s Art Show as well as see the dress rehearsal for Little Shop of Horrors, which is their school play.  Teachers, please make sure you are handing out the permission slips that you received this morning before the end of homeroom.  These slips are due back by Monday, so students will need to get them signed-  no money is needed for this trip.  Students, I’ll be back on at 10 o’clock to explain how to fill out your lunch requests for anyone who doesn’t do this earlier.  Thank you, Sanford Junior High School, for your help with this process!
