Today is a RED Day!
*Students will start their day in HR and go directly to Block 2.
*Mr. Pietruch’s block 2 and block 3 classes will report directly to the library this morning.
*The scheduled Little Mermaid Jr rehearsal today will be in the cafeteria until 3:15.
*Art Club is cancelled for today. Starting next week Art Club will only meet on Thursdays.
**Today is a 6th grade band day. Lessons for All trumpets, all flutes, and trombone. No lesson today for percussion.. Full band at tutorial 1:30.
*Today will be a 5th grade chorus day. Please remember to bring your calendar slips and payments to Ms. Spag today. The last day she can accept calendar slips is tomorrow, January 27th!
*Attention all 6th, 7th & 8th graders who are interested in participating on the SMS Wrestling Team. Sign-ups are now online on the SMS Sports Website. There will also be an informational meeting today in the gym from 1:40-2:00 with Coach Coleman. If you have any questions please see or email Mr. Mann or coach Coleman.
*It’s Kindness and Compassion Month! Let’s all try to be NICE to one another! We CHALLENGE you to try ONE new way of showing compassion and including everyone each week through January. This week’s challenge is to….Choose Growth Mindset. What are you struggling with right now? What is difficult? Don’t give up! Think it through…”I’m not good at (blank)…YET but I can try (blank) to get better. Email your school counselor something you’re struggling with but also working on improving.
