An exciting “first” happened for Mrs. Cote and her 6th grade language arts class at SJHS. One of her students, Natalia Rothwell, won the Sherlock Holmes Mystery Contest sponsored by Scholastic Scope Magazine!! Her prize was a copy of the book, The Murderer’s Apeby Jakob Wegelius, along with a congratulatory letter.
Mrs. Cote offers her students the chance to participate in a different writing contest each month. Natalia is the first winner from Mrs. Cote’s Language Arts class in 6 years! How exciting!
