*Are you interested in a show that has everything from time traveling, history, diversity, humor, friendship, and cool aliens? Well then you just might be interested in watching the classic British show “Doctor Who”. Starting on Tuesday, October 7th “Doctor Who” Club will begin in Ms. Hanson’s room (6th grade wing) where we watch episodes, discuss plots, themes, science fiction concepts, how the show is made and more. If you are new to the club, please see me Ms. Hanson for a permission slip. If teachers want a copy of the slip for students, please email me (ahanson@sanford.org) and I will get that to you. Looking forward to another fun year with the club.
*Onboarding meetings for Dare to Dream today and Thursday until 3:30 in the cafeteria. Students wanting to participate only have to attend one of these afternoons, but are welcomed to attend both. You should see Mr. Bellefeuille or Ms. Crabtree as soon as possible if you would like to participate in the show but can't make either of these meetings. Enrollment in the fall season will close at the end of the school day on Friday, September 19th.
*Beginner 6th grade band meeting times have changed. Beginner 6th grade brass and percussion students will meet during Spartan Time on Tuesdays, and beginner 6th grade woodwind students will meet during Spartan Time on Fridays"
*Open rehearsal for chorus students today during Spartan time for 6th graders. Please see Mr. Hayes in room 2225. Thursday is 5th grade rehearsals and Friday 7th grade.
*Calling all 7th and 8th grade band members! Do you like band? Are you looking for more playing opportunities and an extra challenge. Join Jazz band with Mr. Morese and Mr. Hyssong! The first meeting will be Tuesday September 23 in room 148 from 2:30 to 3:45. Any questions regarding other after school conflicts, please see Mr. Hyssong or Mr. Morese!
