EARLY RELEASE DAY!
*It’s National School Counseling Week! Ever feel stressed, worried, anxious or overwhelmed? Everyone does! It’s NORMAL to NOT feel OK sometimes. Everyone needs a little help sometimes with our feelings and mental health. That’s where school counselors come in! We are here for ALL students and want to teach you coping skills!
*Next week is the last week of can tab collection. The tabs will be donated to the Ronald McDonald house on Friday, Feb. 21st. Let’s end the project with a great finish. Thank you for all the support we have received so far.
*There will not be student leadership this week, but see google classroom for important information about sign ups and dance decoration day next week.
*Reminder that Friday is National Wear Red Day! This is a nationally recognized day by the American Heart Association and Go Red Foundation to bring awareness to cardiovascular disease. February is also American Heart Month.
*Who does the best tik tok dances? Who thinks they're the funniest person in the school? Are you good with a hulu hoop? Or maybe, you write amazing poetry?? Can you do a standing back flip? or Cartwheels? No - don't try it right now. But we're looking for people like you! ANY type of talent can take home the prizes at Sanford's Got Talent! Show off the cool stuff you can do and win up to $100! Grab an audition request form from the front office, library, or in the AA hallway near Ms. Nason's room. Bring the filled out form to Mrs. Houle in Room 1227 ASAP. Auditions will be held next week!
*Student Leadership Block Party for grades 6th – 8th is next Thursday! Admission is just $5 and Concessions will be available for purchase. Doors open at 5 PM, pick up is 6:30 PM.
