*The food drive began TODAY!! If any student brought in a food item today, with permission from your teacher, ask to see Mrs. Houle in room 1227 for a raffle ticket. It's outstanding you got your homeroom started already with collecting food items!
*This morning at 7:50 7th and 8th graders will have a practice assembly in the Gym. Please wait for grade levels to be called down.
*SANFORD MIDDLE SCHOOL values our students and we want you to lead happy, healthy, fun and wonderful lives. We know that by making healthy choices, like staying drug free, you are more likely to live the best life for you.
*The book fair is here. It will officially open Friday morning but can be available for browsing after 11:15 today. It will also be open during conference nights. Please be aware that the best time to shop is first thing in the morning after checking in with your homeroom teacher and also during Spartan time. It will be closed while Mrs Williams is teaching which is 8:20 - 11:05 every day. Please know of how much money you have and that there is tax. Happy shopping.
*Mechanical Advantage Club meets today afterschool with Miss Nason in room 1228 from 2:15-3:30.
*Pokemon Club will take place in the Multi-purpose room the next two weeks.
*The First yearbook meeting will be next Tuesday in room 2233 2:30pm to 3pm.
*This Friday is the state wide Day of Welcome sponsored by the Civil Rights Team Project! This is a day to think and talk about what it means to make everyone in our SMS community feel welcome here! We are asking that everyone wear Spartan gear to recognize that we are all Spartans! Make sure to find the “pledge” poster in your grade level hallway to pledge to make everyone feel safe, respected, and welcomed in our SMS community! Let’s see how many signatures each grade level can get!
*Student Leadership will meet today in room 2217 until 3:15.
