TODAY IS A WHITE DAY
(Announcements not read to student body due to Challenge Day activities)
- Today is a 7th grade band and lesson day. If your lesson falls during Challenge Day, please come on Thursday instead.
- The library is closed today. Mrs. Williams' coding class will still meet in the library.
- Frozen Jr has a script reading this afternoon from 2:00-3:30. Fifth grade students are reminded that our next fifth grade meeting is on Thursday, also from 2:00-3:30 in Room 11 here at the Jr. High.
- Art Club Session A will meet on Tuesday from 2-3 in the Art Room, Session B will meet on Thursday from 2-3. Please arrange to be picked up promptly at 3pm before attending Art Club.
- Bike Club will ride on Thursday. Please meet in room 15 after the bell. Remember to dress for the weather.
- Yearbook will meet Thursday from 2:15-3:00 in Mrs. Sweeney's room. We will be picking the yearbook cover.
- Student Council will be held on Mondays and Thursdays until 3:15. Please have rides ready in the lower parking lot at that time. New members are always welcome! Please see Ms. Sawyer in room 45 for any details.
- STEAM team meets Tuesdays and Thursdays after school until 3:30. New members are always welcome. Please have your rides arranged ahead of time.
- One week from today is the Haunted Woods event! Not recommended for the faint of heart! Ms. Allen, Mr. Sanborn, Mrs. Sawyer, Mr. Bellefeuille and more of your favorite teachers will be there too! $5 to get into the woods and bring extra cash for snacks and hot chocolate! 6pm to 8pm at Gowen park on Tuesday of next week!
- October is Bullying Prevention Month. Bullying can be verbal, physical, emotional, or online. To show our support, Student Council invites you to wear blue on Friday, October 25.
- It's that time already!!! Winter Sports Sign Ups!! Any 7th grader interested in trying out for 7th grade boys and 7th grade girls basketball or Cheerleading, sign ups will be posted in the cafe starting Monday and will be in the cafe until Friday. Remember that you must sign up if you are planning on trying out. You also need to have a physical from your doctor on file with the school nurse.
