*Good morning from your SMS Civil Rights Team! Every year on March 8th, since 1911, we celebrate International Women's Day. International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender equality. This is one of the most important days of the year to celebrate women's achievements, educate and raise awareness about women's equality, call for positive change advancing women, lobby for accelerated gender equality, and fundraise for women's focus charities. Everyone, everywhere can play a part in helping forge gender equality. Make sure to recognize the women in your life today!
