TODAY IS A RED DAY
(Announcements not read to student body due to Challenge Day activities)
- Today is a 6th grade band day. Lessons for LC 6 all day. trumpets are at 8:40, flutes are at 9:55. Percussion is at 11:15 and clarinets are at 12:10. Full band is at 1:05
- Any 7th grade band member with a late fundraiser packet should take it to Mr. Bellefeuille right now.
- Student Council will be held on Mondays and Thursdays until 3:15. Please have rides ready in the lower parking lot at that time. New members are always welcome! Please see Ms. Sawyer in room 45 for any details.
- The library will be closed Tuesday. Mrs. Williams' coding class will still meet in the library.
- STEAM team meets Tuesdays and Thursdays after school until 3:30. New members are always welcome. Please have your rides arranged ahead of time.
- Art Club Session A will meet on Tuesday from 2-3 in the Art Room, Session B will meet on Thursday from 2-3. Please arrange to be picked up promptly at 3pm before attending Art Club.
- Yearbook will meet Thursday from 2:15-3:00 in Mrs. Sweeney's room. We will be picking the yearbook cover.
- The epic Haunted Woods event is almost here!! If you haven't been to JMG's haunted woods event before... you have to check it out! This year, the JMG students are re-creating classic Goosebumps stories. There will be hot chocolate, snacks and more available as well as free candy!!! Tuesday, October 29th, 6pm to 8pm at Gowen Park. $5 to get in the woods!
- Frozen Jr will have a script reading for students in Grades 6-8 tomorrow from 2:00 until 3:30. Fifth grade students will meet on Thursday from 2;00-3:30. All members of the cast & crew are reminded to check the command and control center or Google Classroom for more information, our calendar, and scheduling reminders. We are still accepting new members at all grade levels to our ensemble cast- see Mr. Bellefeuille with questions
- October is Bullying Prevention Month. Bullying is defined as a repetitive, hurtful actions or words targeting one specific person or group of people. To show our support, Student Council invites you to wear blue on Friday, October 25.
- It's that time already!!! Winter Sports Sign Ups!! Any 7th grader interested in trying out for 7th grade boys and 7th grade girls basketball or Cheerleading, sign ups will be posted in the cafe starting Monday and will be in the cafe until Friday. Remember that you must sign up if you are planning on trying out. You also need to have a physical from your doctor on file with the school nurse.
