In honor of Food Service Appreciation Day (Oct. 1) and Custodian Appreciation Day (Oct. 2), the 5th graders from Mr. Gouin's and Mrs. Weston's classes wanted to show how much they value all that these two groups do for them. Students brought in goodies to create snack baskets for them, and put up posters around the school reminding others to say "Thank You" for all they do. This is a part of a monthly activity where the students will find ways to show gratitude to the many people who work to make their lives better, such as the police, firefighters, and veterans.
