RED DAY!
*It’s the last day of Red Ribbon week and we want to thank you for your participation in supporting healthy, drug free lifestyles! We only want the best for you and can’t wait to see what you can achieve!
*Shout out to JMG and Mrs. Houle for another successful Haunted Woods! Thanks to everyone who participated!
*The book fair is coming! The book fair will be in the library all next week including during conferences.
*The library will be closed Thursday and Friday from 12:00 to the end of the day.
*5th grade movie night is TONIGHT from 4-5:30. Admission is Free and there will be concessions for purchase!
* Today, during Spartan Time, Mr. Allen will be holding a Winter Sports Meeting in the Library for the following sports: 7th and 8th Grade Girls Basketball, 7th and 8th Grade Boys Basketball, 7th and 8th Grade Cheerleading. Please bring your laptops with you!
*Today is FULL 5th grade chorus day in the cafe! Attendance is part of your grade so please be on time!
*Today is an 8th Grade Chorus day. It is also a Chorus day for 7th grade students who are not in band. We will be meeting in the upstairs music room following announcements.
*Chess club permission slips are available in Mr. Pyle's room 1200 at the end of the 7th grade wing. Interested students must have the permission slip signed by the parent/guardian prior to our first Chess club meeting this coming Monday November 6th from 2:15-3:00. Interested students are welcome to pick up a form during Spartan time or after school
*Today is a 6th grade band and lesson day. Full band is starting now in Mrs. Ames' band room. The lesson schedule is on the orange lesson calendar
*This Friday is the state wide Day of Welcome sponsored by the Civil Rights Team Project. Our goal is to focus on making all students at SMS feel welcome and safe. Please wear spartan gear or red, white, and/or black in support of the Day of Welcome this Friday.
