WHITE DAY!

 *Red Ribbon Week – This year’s Red Ribbon week theme is Be Kind to Your Mind.  Live Drug Free.  The theme is a call to action to speak out in support of healthy choices.  It also serves as a reminder that we are all empowered with shaping the communities around us through positivity, bravery and strength.  Stop at the table out front of the cafeteria to grab your ribbon and pledge to be drug free.

 *On Thursday, November 2nd, during Spartan Time, Mr. Allen will be holding a Winter Sports Meeting in the cafeteria for the following sports:

-7th and 8th Grade Girls Basketball

-7th and 8th Grade Boys Basketball 

-7th and 8th Grade Cheerleading 

*Tryouts will be on Monday, November 6th, and Thursday, November 9th.  A reminder that students interested in participating that A Physical from a Doctor must be on file with the SMS Nurse in order to participate in school sports. (Physicals are good for 2 years). 

 *NO Aquaponics today!

 *Raise Your Voice will have rehearsal this afternoon after school until 4 o’clock. It is very important that all cast and crew either attend this rehearsal or check in to Google classroom following it.

 *Today is a 6th grade band and lesson day. Full band is starting now in Mrs. Ames' band room. 

  *Today is a 8th Grade Chorus day. It is also a Chorus day for 7th grade students who are not in band. We will be meeting upstairs following the announcements. 

 *Podcast Club will meet today after school until 3:15 in room 199.
