RED Day!
*On Thursday, November 2nd, during Spartan Time, I will be holding a Winter Sports Meeting in the cafeteria for the following sports:
-7th and 8th Grade Girls Basketball
-7th and 8th Grade Boys Basketball
-7th and 8th Grade Cheerleading
*Tryouts will be on Monday, November 6th, and Thursday, November 9th. A reminder that students interested in participating that A Physical from a Doctor must be on file with the SMS Nurse in order to participate in school sports. (Physicals are good for 2 years).
*Raise Your Voice has rehearsal this afternoon from 3:30 until 4:30 for those who can arrange a return to school. As always, students are not allowed to remain in the building and will need to come back at 3:30. All available cast and crew should attend. Tickets for the show, which will be here at SMS in the cafeteria on November November 3rd at 6:30 and November 4th at 1:00 PM, are available in the office. Tickets are $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for seniors and students.
*Friday is the last day to turn coloring or fall drawing submissions in for the student leadership art contest. Please submit to your homeroom teacher with your name, grade and homeroom on the back. Teachers please submit entries to Mrs. Brown either in room 2217 or mailbox.
*Today is a 6th grade lesson day. Here is the lesson schedule: Alto sax at block 2, Tenor sax at block 3, and beginners at block 4.
