*Attention all 5th graders!! Tonight from 4:30-6:00 is the Back to School Block Party! There will be music, dancing, and concessions available for purchase!
*Today is a 6th grade band day. All 6th grade band students who are not new to band should be in the band room already. Do not be late or you will be marked absent from school
*Spartan Gear orders are due Friday for staff and students! Orders can be dropped off in the office or to your homeroom teacher!

*Would you like to be part of an exciting club that helps make SMS a fun place to be? Well, join student leadership. Students, like you....yes you, can make a difference. We need people who are leaders both academically and creatively. Come check us out on Mondays after school until 3:15 in room 2217...that's in the yellow wing in Mrs. Brown's room. All are welcome to attend at any point during the year...so if you have sports or drama and can't attend now but you can later...that is great too!
