Today is a WHITE Day
*NO SCHOOL Monday in observance of Memorial Day.
*Last student day is JUNE 13. Last day for 8th graders is Friday, June 9th.
*Art Club will meet on Thursday this week until 3:30. The final Art Club meeting of the year will be next Thursday.
*Congratulations to all track athletes for finishing up the 2023 track season. Remember that our track party is on Thursday from 2:30 to 3:30, bring something to share if possible. Please bring your jerseys as well.
*Although you can still check out library books a little longer, it is time to get some of them back, especially if they are overdue. Please check your backpacks, under your bed, on your bookshelves, on your teacher's bookshelves, and so on. There are currently over 2,000 books checked out and over 1,000 are overdue.
*During the month of May, SMS is focusing on the theme of respect. We are holding a creative contest with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners that answers the question: what does respect mean to you? Creative pieces need to be submitted to your school counselor by Friday! Winners will be announced next week!
