Today is a WHITE Day
*Congratulations to the 8th grade softball team on their win against Wells, 15-1. Jenna Soucy struck out 18 batters and hit two home runs. Other team members that hit well were Bree Tyler, Taylor Cressey, Bridget Angers, and Ava Corliss. Great job, ladies.
*Tonight is the 7th & 8th grade Spring Band and Chorus Concert!! Performance starts at 7pm at the Sanford Performing Arts Center.
*Attention all Middle school boys basketball players; this message is for all grades. There will be a summer basketball meeting on Thursday May 18th at 1:55 in the big gym. Any player interested in playing this summer should attend.
*During the month of May, SMS is focusing on the theme of respect. We are holding a creative contest with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners that answers the question: what does respect mean to you? You can do a drawing, poem, video, photograph, essay, sculpture or any other creative piece to represent respect. Creative pieces need to be submitted to your school counselor by Friday May 26th and winners will be announced the following week. Good Luck!
