Modern Woodmen of America's annual Speech Contest provides young people an opportunity to meet with early success in public speaking, which imparts a sense of accomplishment, boosts self-confidence and increases the likelihood of significant achievement in the future. This year's prompt is "Challenges Youth Face." The range and variety of topics was quite impressive. Over 50 students participated in the contest with the field being narrowed down to these 12 finalists! Audrey Coleman, Abigail Cote, Kiera Kilkenny, Allison Meekins, Hannah Morgan, Hannah Mueller, Zachary Parison, Hannah Paterson, Avery Morissette, Natalia Rothwell, Oliver Sigouin, Corinna Vitale.
The Finalists presented their speeches yesterday to our judges Julie Williams & Shawn Sullivan.
