- Cooking Club will be Thursday,
- The results are in for the Pay it Forward Penny Drive. Before we announce the top scores for each grade level, I want to say that I am blown away by the amount of money and bottles collected for Angie. On May 9th, we will surprise Angie with a $1500 voucher to the Sanford/Springvale YMCA to help her with childcare, and then there's still money left over! Right now we are working on a way to help her with her car! The bottles will be a surprise for the school in Peru, to hopefully help Angie start a food backpack program there.
With that said, lets find out who the 2019 Penny Drive Champions are!
In the 6th grade wing, over $900 was collected total - which is incredible. But in first place, with 7,070 points, is Mrs. Brown's homeroom!!!
In the 7th grade wing, with 5,213 points, Mrs. Clark's homeroom came in first!!
In the 8th grade wing, with 9,205 points and over $140 collected as a homeroom, first place goes to Mr. Lemelin's homeroom!!!!
Congratulations and overall, we are all winners here as next week we get to surprise Angie with what we've raised!!
