Sheri Frechette from the Sanford Elks Lodge treated some 7th & 8th Grade students to a pizza party this afternoon in celebration of their accomplishments. Lamar Amoakohene and Avery Morissette were recognized for their Americanism Essays and a group of talented 8th graders earned state recognition for their Drug Awareness PSA, "What Drugs Take Away." The students pictured with Ms. Frechette, Abbey Gifford, Madelyn Hamblin, Oliver Sigouin, Josiah Bugbee, Avery Morissette, Chase Wilson, and Dahlia Wechsler, will also be honored at both the Local and State Banquets in May.
