Today is a WHITE Day!
*Sanford's Got Talent 2023 is on Friday at 4:30pm in the SMS cafe!! Students, families, and staff and welcome to attend. Admission is $5. There will also be concessions and raffles!! We have an incredible show this year!! Acts, your mandatory rehearsals are this week and begin tomorrow, Tuesday, at 2:30pm in the Cafe. You should be fully prepared with costumes, props, mats or anything else needed for your act.
*Today we welcome guest speaker Luka Kinard today! He will be speaking to our 7th and 8th grade classes today from 9-10am in the gym about the dangers of vaping. Staff, please wait for an announcement from the office to bring down your class.
*The PTA Butter Braids fundraiser is due TODAY! Please turn in your order sheets to your Homeroom teacher!
*5th grade chorus will start up again this Thursday, March 9th. Enjoy recess and see you on Thursday!
*Chess club today in Mr. Pyle's from 2:15-3:00. We will be starting the March Madness Chess Tournament next Monday so please sign up today and pick-up a permission slip if you have not done so.
*Lego Club will be held today until 3:30 in Ms. Joy’s room.
*Podcast Club will meet today in Room 192 until 3:15.
*The Read-a-Thon starts today. Please get the information to sign up from your homeroom or ELA teacher or Mrs. Williams. Which grade will read the most? Which class? Which student? Stay tuned.
*Grades close today for students for Quarter 3 Progress Reports! The grading window will open tomorrow at 8am and will remain open until Friday at 9am.
