Hello Pride Families - Pride and Margaret Chase Smith are fortunate to have a combined PTA. Tonight is the first MCS Pride PTA meeting of the 2022-2023 school year. We would love to have our Pride families join us to learn more about the MCS Pride PTA and the many ways they support our school. The meeting is at 6:00 PM at MCS School. Please attend!

Attention Pride families, Bus 15 students are leaving Pride School and will be dropped off by Bus 18.

Attention Pride families, Bus 15 has been delayed due to a breakdown. They are sending a new bus for them.

Hello Pride Families - This is a reminder that Wednesday, August 31st is a normal day of school and NOT an early release day - Students will be dismissed at 3:00 PM.

Hello Pride Families! We had a wonderful first day back to school for our 1st - 4th graders. A few reminders: - Drop-Off at SPE is 8:05 AM. Staff will not be on duty to meet your child prior to this time. - Drop-Off is 8:05 - 8:25 AM and is located in the lower portion of our school near the gym. Please enter by the Memorial Gym. - Students that arrive after 8:25 AM should be dropped off at the main entrance. - For safety reasons, please do not enter the school bus circle between 8:00 AM & 8:25 AM and then again between 2:50 & 3:40 PM.

Good afternoon, Pride families! This is a reminder that SPE is distributing three free COVID-19 boxes of testing kits per enrolled student. Please stop by the front office between the hours of 9am and 2:30 to receive yours. Thanks!

Covid Tests The Sanford School District will provide at home Covid tests for all of their families and staff members. Each student/staff member will have access to three kits (6 tests). Covid tests must be picked up at the school and signed for by an adult that is listed on your child’s Infinite Campus profile. Sanford Pride will hand out Covid-19 tests to parents from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm each day as follows: 5/24 - Kindergarten 5/25 - 1st grade 5/26 - 2nd grade 5/27 - 3rd grade 5/31 - 4th grade Parents of all grades can also pick up Covid-19 tests on 5/25 and 6/1 from 3:30-5:00 pm *If you require a different pick up time or date, please contact our office at 324-8454.
