Students in Title I are sad to say good-bye to Mrs. Shelley next Thursday. After years of dedication to the students of Sanford, she is going to enjoy retirement. We are excited to welcome Mrs. Mills. She will be joining us after the holiday break. We would like to thank everyone who has been reading nightly and playing the math games sent home to practice. Over vacation we encourage students to maintain their skills by helping around the house! Helping read recipes, write lists, check the time and prepare for company all include basic literacy and math skills. Making learning fun and integrating it into daily activities makes students more engaged and understand the importance of learning. We wish you all a wonderful holiday with family and friends. We will see you in 2023.
