Title I News
Spring is a busy time of year for Title I students and teachers. Over the next couple of weeks parents are invited to observe a Title I lesson. Thank you for returning the paperwork to sign up for a time, we are looking forward to seeing you. If you are unable to attend for some reason, please call the school to cancel. 324-8454
We are very excited to announce that later this spring author Kate Messner will be visiting our school to discuss her books and the craft of writing. Her website has a list of her books, many of them have been read in classes over the past few years. https://katemessner.com More information will be provided as the date gets closer.
Sanford will be offering summer school to our Title I students. This is a four week session, students would receive both math and reading support during this time. We will be sending home a packet with more information after April Vacation. This is an excellent opportunity for students to receive instruction throughout the summer to maintain their skills. Please return the permission form whether you plan for your child to attend or not.
We appreciate all of your support this year. Nightly reading bags and weekly math games help students build the fluency that give them the confidence to take risks in their learning. If you are looking for more ways to support your child, please reach out.
