Here are just a couple of things that are happening in Mrs. Boivin's 4th Grade class. Who knew that both history and math could be so hands on?!
- Students are learning more about equivalent fractions and adding fractions by manipulating their foam fraction pieces.
- To tie into the research being done in the reading & writing units, students have made butter as it was done during the colonial times. Then they made their own colonial cup toss game, with updated and inexpensive resources. The students have been fascinated with the time period and the activities have added to the understanding and interest.
