Next week is Red Ribbon Week (10/23-10/31), a week put in place to raise awareness about the destruction caused by drugs in America and the dangers of drug abuse. Everyone wears red ribbons during this week to support being drug free and staying drug free. Students are being introduced to Red Ribbon Week in Health class this week in conjunction with the drug-use prevention unit they worked on last week. Ms. Keene will be making the red ribbon pins for everyone and will drop them off to the classes so that we can all show support to this important cause.
