Fourth grade teachers and their students are getting doors ready for the Christmas Door Decorating Contest. This seems to be a fun focus for the students and teachers alike.
Homework club began for 4th graders at the end of October. Currently we offer it Monday and Tuesday afternoons. We have about 15 students participating. We are grateful and want to give a big shout out to the PTA who has ordered snacks for students to eat during the club time.
Class mascot for Mrs. Boivin’s class, Larry the Lobster, is traveling to homes during December. He will be sharing his stories through pictures. He’s pictured here reminding staff that there is still time to donate to the YCCS.
In Reading and Writing classes, we just finished up our fiction units and are moving into new reading and writing units. Students are working on final projects in Social Studies for kids to "show what they know" about maps.
Mr. Fernandez’s class are making Salt Dough maps. They will be complete prior to the break.
