How long have you worked in the Sanford School Department?
This is my first year in Sanford. Prior to this I taught secondary English and Social Studies in New Hampshire.
What’s your favorite part about working in Sanford?
I really enjoy the kids--this is my first time working with little ones--and my new colleagues. They are so warm and friendly.
What’s your favorite TV show or Movie?
Hmm ... my favorite TV show is The Great British Baking Show. I love Paul Hollywood and Noel Fielding. I'd love to get a Hollywood handshake.
If you could describe yourself in three words, what would they be?
Creative, thoughtful, and charismatic. I just learned that "rizz," which is short for “charisma,” is the Oxford word of the year. Good Scrabble word.
If you could visit any place in the world, where would it be?
I might like to visit Corfu, an island in Greece. Or Palermo, in Sicily. But I'm afraid of flying, and I never tire of NYC.
Iced coffee or hot coffee?
Hot. I used to only drink iced, but I switched for some reason.
Playlists or podcasts?
Playlists, with lots of Grateful Dead.
Lake or ocean?
Can't choose ... I love them both.
Sunrise or sunset?
Sunset, definitely sunset.
Facebook or Instagram?
Generally, I'm not on Social Media. I do have an Instagram account so I can message my friend and former colleague who moved to Greece. It is easy to get lost in it--especially the animal videos.
