Second graders at MCS enjoyed a lesson about hedgehogs and then created a fused glass animal with Mrs. Cheryl Rhoda from Glasworx in Sanford. The day before, the students watched a Mystery Science lesson about glassmaking. The hedgehog has to be baked at over 1,500 degrees before it's complete. Did you know that they have 5,000-6,000 spikes on their back and a group of hedgehogs is called an array?
