Margaret Chase Smith kindergartners recently wrapped up their final K for ME unit of the year, and what a meaningful one it was! Students dove into the natural world, learning all about plants, trees, recycling, composting, and simple ways we can all care for the Earth.
Through hands-on investigations, read-alouds, research, and teamwork on collaborative projects, our youngest learners discovered something big: even small choices can make a positive difference for our planet.
The unit concluded with a special showcase, where families joined us as students proudly presented what they learned and shared their own ideas for being responsible caretakers of the Earth. We were so impressed by their curiosity, creativity, and confidence!
Thank you to all the families who came to celebrate with us.
