How long have you been working at Margaret Chase Smith?
I started working at MCS in August of 2015, so this would be my 8th year.
What is your favorite part about working at Margaret Chase Smith?
My favorite part about working at MCS is the people! I feel like this is my 2nd home because everyone is so welcoming and supportive. We all collaborate together and I feel very supported by the administration. We also have the best students here, and that is why I love my job so much!
What are your interests and hobbies?
I enjoy playing and watching sports. My favorite sport to play and coach is basketball. I coached the 8th girls team at the Middle School this past season. I also started a girls and boys basketball club after school at MCS. I play softball in a women's league in the summer and I also enjoy spending time with my husband and two daughters.
What is your favorite TV show or movie?
I am a huge Big Brother fan. I love watching this reality TV show every summer. I wanted to try out for the show back in March of 2020 because the auditions were in Maine, however everything got canceled due to Covid. I also love watching Chicago Fire & PD.
If you could describe yourself in three words, what would they be?
I would say that I am very outgoing, funny and friendly.
What three items would you bring on a deserted island?
I would bring a fishing net, a hammock and a First Aid Kit.
