How long have you been working in the Sanford School Department?
I have been working and or volunteering in the elementary schools since 2008. I volunteered for lunch duty when my daughter started Kindergarten. I then started as a substitute when my son was in first grade in 2011. After 3 years of subbing I started in the technology department. I have been doing that since 2014.
What is your favorite part about working at Sanford?
I love helping "my people" as I call them. I work in the elementary schools helping teachers and students with their tech questions and issues (not glitches that word is not allowed). I really enjoy figuring out the problem and seeing a satisfied person when I have solved and or taught them how to solve the problem.
What are your interests and hobbies?
I like to be outside when the weather is nice. I like to hike and or just walk around and enjoy the sights. I enjoy playing volleyball.
What is your favorite TV show or movie?
I do not have a favorite show or movie I enjoy all types of shows. I prefer movies over tv as you don't have to keep coming back to it again and again.
If you could describe yourself in three words, what would they be?
I hope others would describe me as hardworking, kind, and reliable.
What three items would you bring on a deserted island?
Assuming there is food and water I would bring my bible, swiss army knife, and clothes.
