Good evening, This is a reminder that parent teacher conferences are tomorrow and Monday, the 20th, after school. Please contact your child's teacher if you need an appointment reminder or to reschedule. Also, we did not get our delivery of free snacks, so the fresh fruit and vegetable program will resume again Friday. No school next Wed-Fri, Nov. 22-24. Happy Thanksgiving! Carl J. Lamb had its Veterans Day Celebration this morning! The celebration included performances from all grades, artistic exhibitions, and more. Veterans also visited classrooms to talk about their service. The celebration concluded with brunch in the music room!

WMTW is coming to Carl J. Lamb on Wednesday morning for Weather At Your School! Meteorologist Ted McInerney will do his morning forecast at the school from 6 a.m.- 8 a.m. Parents can bring their students at 6 a.m. and are welcome to stay. There will be some breakfast treats to enjoy provided by the PTA.

We'd like to thank our volunteers, donors, community partners, and PTA for seeing our playground project through. We're proud to announce that IT IS READY for our students to enjoy tomorrow!


GEAR Parent Network and the Sanford School Counseling Department are hosting an event called "Defusing Challenging Behaviors: How to Effectively De-Escalate Your Child," presented by Heather Williams, CFPS, Regional Parent Support Coordinator.
It will take place on November 2, 2023, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Pride School, in the library at 708 Main Street.
Participants are advised to register ahead of time by emailing bletourneau@sanford.org and to provide their first and last name and the age of the children they care for.
Handouts, a certificate of attendance, and PowerPoint slides will be provided at the workshop. The event aims to teach different techniques for defusing challenging behaviors in children.
