School meals are free for all children in the community 18 and under.
Beginning Monday, October 26, 2020, free meals are available for pick up on school days. All children are eligible and enrollment is not required.
Families may pick up school meals at Lafayette School or Sanford High School/Regional Vocational Center from 11:00 to 12:00 on days when there is school. Meals should be pre-ordered by 7:00 p.m. the night before using the online order form. The form are located under Family Links - Food & Nutrition on the Sanford School Department website. Families are encouraged to submit Free & Reduced Meal applications before October 31st. Students eligible for free or reduced priced meals may be eligible for other benefits such as reduced program fees, waived test fees, enrichment opportunities and more. When households submit an application, it also helps the district receive valuable funding and resources. Families may apply online at myschoolapps.com.
