The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is coming to Stanford High School and SRTC on Monday, Jan. 30th for a presentation on their apprenticeship program and other employment opportunities at the Shipyard. There will be two presentations. If you are interested please see Mrs. Schindler in room D211 (Second floor green wing) to sign up. This is an opportunity to learn more about PNSY's apprenticeship program and some hints on applying before the hiring event in February. This cohort of apprentices will start in June after graduation. Please contact Mrs. Schindler with any questions. (contact info below!)
The freshman class is hosting a paint night here at SHS on February 3rd 5:30-7:30PM. The cost is $20 where an artist shows you how to create a beautiful piece of art. They will also have a bake sale and 50/50 raffle. If you are interested, please email emurphyputnam@sanford.org. Spots are limited!

Environmental Club will meet every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month during Spartan Time in E222 with Ms. Trafelet. Kids need to sign up with their Spartan Time teacher.
Ocean Bowl will meet every 2nd Tuesday of the month during Spartan Time with Ms. Trafelet. Kids need to sign up with their Spartan Time teacher.
