There will be a meeting for anyone interested in playing Unified Basketball Tuesday Dec 20 during spartan time in E153?

SHREK Auditions: Dec. 20th- 2:30-6:00 in the PAC  If you missed the informational meeting and need paperwork please see Mrs. Baker in E212.  All tech & audition forms are due back by 12/19 

 SRTC Horticulture and Landscaping Holiday Market plant sale.  We will be offering various sized wreaths, kissing balls, poinsettias, succulents, succulent gardens, house plants, floral arrangements and gift certificates. The sale will be open to the public for the next two weeks while supplies last. Take a walk down the green wing to check out our sales display from 8:30 AM - 1:15 PM

New book club book!  What if it's us, by Adam Silvera and Becky Albertalli. This is a light-hearted, LGBTQ romance novel.  New members are always welcome. If you'd like to join us, send and email or talk to Mrs. Raymond. Books will be distributed on December 14th.  Here is a review: What if it's us

Calling all artists:  Are you an artist interested in having your work seen by a wider audience?  Are you passionate about social justice and civil rights? Don't miss the opportunity to submit, share, and potentially sell your work.  The Unitarian Church in Kennebunk is looking for artwork to be displayed at their 20th anniversary event honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., on January 16th.  All mediums of art are welcome- drawing, painting, sculpture, etc…You are not required to be present to participate, and there are also cash prizes for best in show. For more information, see Mrs. Raymond in the library.

Seniors the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month sign up during Spartan time for college help with the SHS School Counselors (under Mrs. Letourneau in the Spartan time scheduler) beginning Oct 6th until January 19th.

CLUBS AND ORGANIZATIONS

 

ASL Club meets every Tuesday in room B246 from 2:10-3:00

 

Key Club meets every Monday @ 6:30pm in the small café.

Environmental Club will meet every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month during Spartan Time in E222 with Ms. Trafelet.  Kids need to sign up with their Spartan Time teacher.

Ocean Bowl will meet every 2nd Tuesday of the month during Spartan Tim with Ms. Trafelet.  Kids need to sign up with their Spartan Time teacher.

Chamber Singers will meet on Fridays from 2:30-4:00pm.  See Mr. LaBerge for more info

Health and Wellness Club will run every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in the weight room right after school.

Chess & Cribbage Club meets on Tuesdays from 2:10-3:10 in D222

SHS Peer Helpers meet every Friday MORNING @ 7:30am in the small café

Math Team will meet Tuesdays right after school in D243

D&D Club will meet Tuesdays 2:15-3:30 in D242 and Fridays 2:15-3:30 in the Cafeteria

Pep Band dates can be found at sanfordbands.com, next Pep Band game is Friday December 9th for the girls and boys basketball game. Email hfrancoeur@sanford.org with any questions.

GSTA will meet every Thursday after school in B237

Future Educators of America will meet the second Tuesday of each month @ 2:30 in D-113

Diversity Committee will meet the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month in E121

SHS book club meets every other Wednesday during ST in the Library.  New members welcome.

Art Club  Need some creative time to unwind after school? Join us for Art Club every Thursday after school until 3:15. Everyone is welcome!  Ms. Monroe’s room B147

Anime club will be meeting in room B243, Tuesdays from 2:10 – 3:10

Civil Rights Team: Do you believe that school is a place where students should feel safe, welcomed, respected, and celebrated for who they are? The Sanford Civil Rights Team is the club for you! Please join us on Mondays from 2:15-3:15 in the library.  ALL ARE WELCOME!
