RED Day
The School Counseling speaker series will kick off for the year on Thursday, 10/27, during Spartan Time. Students will have an exciting opportunity to hear from Noble High School graduate, Nick R. Tucker, as he shares his incredible story of overcoming difficult circumstances and his message of how to stay hopeful through adversity. This was the third most requested student topic from the fall survey.
There will be a Halloween Costume Dance on Saturday, October 29 from 7-10pm! 🎃👻🎶 Tickets are $10 and will be sold during lunches this week, in the Asst. Principals office and at the door. There will be a prize for the best costume, so keep the school dress code in mind. No full-coverage face masks will be permitted. Join us for spooky decor, fun dance music and some fun Halloween songs! This is a fundraiser put on by the 2023 SHS Abroad students.
Help the Civil Rights Team celebrate the 4th Annual Maine Civil Rights Team Project's Day of Welcome during the week of 10/31/2022! We recognize and celebrate that our school community is for EVERYONE: all races and skin colors, all national origins and ancestries, all disabilities, all religions, all genders (including identities and expressions), and all sexual orientations. There will be a spirit week focusing on the colors of the Civil Rights Team Project's identities:
Monday, October 31: Orange for Race and Skin Color
Tuesday, November 1: Purple for Religion
Wednesday, November 2: Light Blue for Gender Identity and Expression AND Dark Blue for Sexual Orientation
Thursday, November 3: Green for Disabilities
Friday, November 4: Red for National Origin and Ancestry
Attention Seniors who still need a senior photo taken: We have a photographer available to you during Block 2 - come to D113 to set up an apt during block 2 for a quick photoshoot so you don’t miss out on being pictured in the yearbook.

SAVE THE DATE! This Year's POWDER PUFF GAME is November 13th!
The Powder Puff Football Game is an annual tradition at Sanford High School. Normally, the boys will serve as the event's cheerleaders, while the girl's play on the field in a friendly flag football game. This year we will be offering concessions, the Chuck-A-Duck competition, a 50/50 Raffle and an EPIC Half-Time Show, filled with cheering routines, youth football matches, and the crowning of our Powder Puff King! It is a Community Event for all ages!
