WHITE Day

 

Seniors the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month sign up during Spartan time for college help with the SHS School Counselors (under Mrs. Letourneau in the Spartan time scheduler) beginning Oct 6th until January 19th.

CLUBS AND ORGANIZATIONS

 

Key Club meets every Monday @ 6:30pm in the small café.

 

Environmental Club will meet every 3rd Tuesday of the month during Spartan Time in E222 with Ms. Trafelet.  Kids need to sign up with their Spartan Time teacher.

Ocean Bowl will meet every 2nd Tuesday of the month during Spartan Tim with Ms. Trafelet.  Kids need to sign up with their Spartan Time teacher.

Chamber Singers will meet on Fridays from 2:30-4:00pm.  See Mr. LaBerge for more info

Health and Wellness Club will run every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in the weight room right after school.

Chess & Cribbage Club will be held on Tuesdays from 2:10-3:10 in D222

SHS Peer Helpers meet ever Friday MORNING @ 7:30am in the small café

Math Team will meet Tuesdays right after school in D243

Diversity Committee will meet the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month in E121

SHS book club will hold it's first meeting on Tuesday, October 4th, during ST.  We will meet in the library to choose our first book, and discuss how often we should meet. New members welcome.

Art Club  Need some creative time to unwind after school? Join us for Art Club every Thursday after school until 3:15. Everyone is welcome!  Ms. Monroe's room B147

Anime club will be meeting in room B243, Tuesdays from 2:10 - 3:10

 

Civil Rights Team: Do you believe that school is a place where students should feel safe, welcomed, respected, and celebrated for who they are? The Sanford Civil Rights Team is the club for you! Please join us on Mondays from 2:15-3:15 in the library.  ALL ARE WELCOME!

Community Service Opportunities

There is an elderly woman in town who is looking for someone willing to shovel for her when it snows.  If interested, please see Mrs. Pattershall in A237

The MCS Pride PTA is need of volunteers for their Halloween Trick or Treating Event at MCS on 10/27.  They need help with set up from 3:30-5:00pm, during the event from 5:00-7:30pm, and cleanup after the event from 7:30-8:00pm.  If you are able to volunteer, please contact us at mcsptame@gmail.com.

The Acton Elementary School-PTG is putting on a Trunk or Treat Event and they are looking for volunteers to help with set-up, carry out of activities, and break down, on October 29th between the hours of 11am-5pm.  If you are interested in signing up for a time slot, or even the day, please email yvonne@actonptg.com

On October 10th North Parish Church is holding a Community Care Day.  Many volunteers are needed for this event.  If interested please call Jess Mullen @ 207-583-7273

Looking for COMMUNITY SERVICE? GOING to the HOME VARSITY FOOTBALL GAMES? Please see Mrs. Farrell in A234 (leave a note if she is not there) or email dfarrell@sanford.org to find out how Project Graduation could use your help at the games. This is an easy and fun way to earn some hours!
