Job Opportunities

Wells Parks & Recreation: Summer Camp Counselors

We are looking for Camp Counselors to supervise young campers to make sure they learn and have fun. The most important of all Camp Counselor duties is to ensure campers are safe at all times. You’ll be responsible for overseeing camper activities and ensuring they follow rules. The job duties of a Camp Counselor also include organizing summer camp games, educating campers and setting up equipment. Camp Counselors must be willing and able to be flexible in various situations. Being reliable and able to build good relationships with children and co-workers are two essential traits of a Camp Counselor. We are looking for mature individuals who understand how to follow guidelines and keep a positive attitude. If you love to work with children, are patient, love working outdoors, energetic but stern when needed, we’d like to meet you. For more information or to apply visit wellsrec.org or call 207-646-5826.
