WHITE Day
LET’S GO SKATING! Please join SHS Abroad this Saturday, Jan. 29th from 6-9 pm at West Brook Skating Rink in Biddeford (Pool Street) for an outdoor FUNdraiser! There will be music, food and drinks for sale, and more. Tickets are $10 at the gate ($5 for kids under 10) and rentals are limited - bring what you have! Open to SHS students, staff, and the community. We hope to see you there! Email kfoley@sanford.org with questions.
Want to be considered to join the Sanford Regional Technical Center for the 22-23 School Year? All 10th grade students will participate in an "Introduction to SRTC and the Admissions process" presentation during Spartan Time on Thursday, 1/27/22. Also, please check out our website (address below) to find an introductory video, pathways videos and descriptions of all of our programs as well as a video outlining the application process and information on our Admissions Open House (one to take place virtually on Weds, 2/16 from 1:30pm to 3:15pm and another option is in-person on Thursday, 2/17 from 6pm to 7:30pm). Ocean Bowl meets in the SRTC Career Center next to the school counseling office during Spartan time on Fridays. They are looking for a few more competitors to join their team. Environmental Club meets Tuesdays @ 7:20am in Ms. Trafelet’s room E222. We have several projects we will be working on this year. Come join us and help make a positive impact on our planet. All are welcome!!

Civil Rights Team meets Tuesdays after school, in the library or Zoom. We will also be meeting every other Friday during Spartan Time! New members are always welcome.
Art club meets every Thursday in room B127 with Mrs. Gillis from 2:20-3:30. All are welcome!
Pep Club meets on Tuesdays after school in room C224 to discuss Homecoming, New Goals and a Great Year!
Key Club will start meeting Monday nights at 6:30 on the agora stairs. Key Club is the best way to fulfill community service requirements and have a great time with friends at the same time!
SHS Peer Helpers meet every Friday morning in the small cafeteria at SHS. Meetings begin at 7:30 or if you are a bus student stop by when your bus arrives at school. New student tours, Thanksgiving baskets, #thisisus are all part of what SHS Peer Helpers are involved in.
