The SHS Peer Helpers are beginning their annual Thanksgiving food drive. We are hoping to support at least 35 SHS families this year. School Counselors will be reaching out to families but if your family or if you are privy to a family who could use this resource please email bletourneau@sanford.org. The family must have a student who attends SHS. Collection areas are set up in the main lobby. The class that brings the most (non-expired) items in their class box wins a great prize! Competition lasts November 10-19, 2021.

Job Opportunities

Community Service Opportunities

St. George's has a volunteer opportunity for community service hours. This opportunity would be ideal for students looking to gain experience in the area of Visual Communications/Marketing. We need some extra assistance with our social media presence and would love to be able to provide hours to students interested in working in that area in exchange for that assistance! The students will have the opportunity to flex their skills with design creation of promotional materials, with the bulk of their time spent setting up and scheduling social media posts for the church. There is room for creativity for those interested in doing more than simply satisfying a list of posts to share. Additionally, working with Rev. Lauren would include potential for a reference for college or job applications. St. George's is an open and affirming church where all are welcome. revlaurenkay@gmail.com
