Ocean Bowl meets in the SRTC Career Center next to the school counseling office during Spartan time on Fridays. They are looking for a few more competitors to join their team. Environmental Club meets Tuesdays @ 7:20am in Ms. Trafelet’s room E222. We have several projects we will be working on this year. Come join us and help make a positive impact on our planet. All are welcome!!

Civil Rights Team meets Tuesdays after school, in the library or Zoom. We will also be meeting every other Friday during Spartan Time! New members are always welcome.
Art club meets every Thursday in room B127 with Mrs. Gillis from 2:20-3:30. All are welcome!
Pep Club meets on Tuesdays after school in room C224 to discuss Homecoming, New Goals and a Great Year!
Key Club will start meeting Monday nights at 6:30 on the agora stairs. Key Club is the best way to fulfill community service requirements and have a great time with friends at the same time!
SHS Peer Helpers meet every Friday morning in the small cafeteria at SHS. Meetings begin at 7:30 or if you are a bus student stop by when your bus arrives at school. New student tours, Thanksgiving baskets, #thisisus are all part of what SHS Peer Helpers are involved in. The Acton Elementary School-PTG is putting on a Trunk or Treat Event and they are looking for volunteers to help with set-up, carry out of activities, and break down, on October 30th between the hours of 10am-5pm. If you are interested in signing up for a time slot, or even the day, please email yvonne@actonptg.com
The Seashore Trolley Museum is putting on a Pumpkin Patch Trolley Event and they are looking for volunteers to help on the following dates: October 8, 9, 20 & 21. If you are interested, please see Mrs. Pattershall or email events@trolleymuseum.org

Life Hacks from your school nurse: Getting the right amount of sleep is crucial for your immune system. Sleeping for more than nine hours at a time can actually damage it!!
Spartan Snack: Beginning at 2:00 PM, Super Snack will be served at no cost to students attending afterschool activities at Sanford High School/SRTC. Meals will be served in the hallway directly outside of the cafeteria from 2-2:45. Your server is required to take attendance and will ask for your first and last names. Meals may be taken to your activity.
