COVID

September 10, 2021

Dear Students, Faculty, Staff, and Families,

This letter is to inform you of the following new cases of COVID-19:

·       One new case at Carl J. Lamb Elementary School

·       One new case at Sanford Middle School

·       One new case at Sanford High School

School representatives have notified all known close contacts of the individuals and appropriate quarantine guidelines have been provided.

Carl J. Lamb Elementary School is now considered in “outbreak status” because there have been three epidemiologically linked positive COVID-19 cases there within a 14-day period. Based on recommendations from the Maine CDC, we are continuing to clean the school and classrooms to help prevent the further spread of COVID-19.

Please continue to monitor yourself and call a health care provider if you experience symptoms.  Remember, it is important that students/staff stay home if they are sick. Together our preventative steps can protect the health of our students, school personnel and the Sanford community.
