The Mark Cuban Foundation is offering a FREE in-person AI bootcamp in Orono, Me. for high school students.  If you are interested, apply by September 30 @ markcubanai.org/students.

The Late Bus is now available on Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays.  It will pick up students at the flagpole out front between 3:50-4PM.

Book club will be reading Under the Same Stars, by Libba Bray. If you are interested in getting a copy and joining us, please let Mrs. Raymond know ASAP.  We'll be distributing copies at our meeting on Thursday, Oct. 1.  (Don't forget book club meets during ST on Thursdays- only sign up if you are in book club- new members welcome).

Think globally, act locally....join environmental club on Tuesday afternoons in the library.  Our first meeting will be on Tuesday, October 6th @ 2:30.  We'll explore ideas to make our school and community more environmental-friendly!

Are you into fashion? Do you like designing, swapping, and upcycling clothes? If so, Couture Club is for you! Join us Wednesdays at 2:20 in Mrs. Stanhope's room (B237) to exchange ideas, swap clothing, and customize clothing.

COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES

The Sanford Springvale News is looking a student volunteer with a vehicle and a driver’s license to deliver newspapers to our schools on Fridays in the late morning or early afternoon. Your route would cover Sanford High School, Middle School and Pride, Carl J Lamb and Margaret Chase

Smith Elementary schools. And, Sanford Community Adult Ed and St ThomasSchool. You would pick up your papers on Grammar St. and do your delivery fromthere. The route would take up to two hours or maybe a little less. If there are weeks when you won’t be available, we can get a substitute. We’re also looking for extra substitutes for this and other routes throughout the year. If interested, contact Kendra Williams at

The Acton Elementary School PTG is in need of volunteers for their Annual Trunk or Treat Event on Saturday, October 24th, from 11am-4:00pm.  If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us at ymichaud@sanford.org. 

Carl J Lamb School is hosting their annual Halloween Trick or Treat Event on Thursday October 29 at 5 pm and we are looking for high school volunteers.  We are in need of greeters and candy runners if interested please email lydiaclehoux@gmail.com. 

SUPER SNACK will be starting back up again on Monday September 21st. It will be Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:20-2:45pm.
